Oh my. So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. There were some really good people in GM public relations in the '70s, '80s and '90s, but none more so than Jim. I'm proud to say I knew him.

R.I.P., Jim. I especially enjoyed your humor during my five-year stint at The Detroit New in the 1960s.

I worked with Jim at Channel Four, WWJ-TV for several years. His TV life is missing from the beautiful write-up but I am convinced that it was his step into the future of news (TV) that made him the fantastic communicator that he became at GM.

R.I.P. Jim. We worked together at WWJ TV many years ago. Jim was always a true professional and gentleman.

A man of incredible dignity and character, Jim was a professional in every sense of the word. I was humbled to work with him...a gentleman through and through.

Today I read this obit and said tomyself. I know this man. Yes, his father was Jack Crellin and my brother Edward Kothe were close friends. I even babysat the Crellen twins when I was about 16. Also a graduate of Lakeshore High and lived in Harrison Twp. small world. I married my high school sweetheart Frank Ignich. We still live in SCS for the last 66 years. Oh my! I am so happy to read of all of his accomplishments. Was he not a twin that was married to Helen Crellin? (whitmore)?
Sorry to read of his passing away, but an amazing person I read.
Thanks for the memories. Margaret Kothe Ignich
