James Joseph Davis, 37, of Coal City, Illinois, a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1980-1984 and 1987-1990, and an employee of Stateville Prison, died in Streator, Illinois, on the morning of Sunday, August 20, 2000. Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 23, 2000, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois. There will be no visitation. Solon & Baker Funeral Home, Streator, is in charge of the arrangements.

I know your daughter; Katie. She talks about you often. I pray for you even though I wasn't lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet you.
