Not sure what to say?

Dear Beverly and Barbara,
My deepest condolences for the loss
of your dad. I got to meet him the summer of '61 as his mailman. Many a day he was watering his plants and
waiting for his mail. It was a pleasure knowing and talking to such a fine gentleman. Wanted to call, but hope this message reaches you. See you in '08.

Dear Bev, Barbara, and George my heart goes out to you during this sad time for your family. You all have been a big part of so many sweet tasting memories for me and my family over these many years ! My Mom (Evelyn Souza Destefani) first saw Dewars grow from a small shop, that the K.C.H.S. kids would frequent, to becoming a well known enterprise throughout Calif. and beyond. Another passing of a Bakersfield pioneer...my mother told me a story about how she and some classmates would sneak over to Dewar's from Bakersfield High School in the early 1920's...as a child I remember many trips to Dewar's in the late 1930's and early 40's. I returned to Bakersfield for a nostalgia trip last April and, of course, visited Dewar's several times.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father. My thoughts are with you, George, at this difficult time. Take care my friend.
