James (Jim) Richard Dubell was husband to Becky for 39 years, dad to Darcy with husband Raymon McNiven of Spokane, dad to Jamie with husband Dan David of Fairbanks, and grandpa to Brenden McNiven and soon to be J.J. David. Family, the most important feature in his life, defined who he was. Jim...

Not sure what to say?

You cannot forget a man like Jim Dubell. He had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. He is a good memory and it is still crazy to think he is gone.

To the family of Jim Dubell my sincere condolences....I only knew Jim through his work and business. He was a true craftsman, every time I pickup one of the firearms that he help me build, I think of him.

This is sad news. I met Jim once at his shop and he gave me the tour. I was thinking of asking Jim to work on a rifle of mine and just came across this obituary. Seemed like such a fine fellow, and to pass so young.

Hello Becky,

I am devastated to learn of Jim's passing. He was really a great guy and his humor was the best. God knows how much that man loved you. He laughingly told the story of your history and how you two got together and married.

My time with him in his shop years ago was really a special visit. He is a warm human being to say the least.

I will miss him and there is no way to express my understanding of the sorrow and emptiness you must feel.

In memory of...

Jim's artistry

I met Jim in person when I delivered my grandfather's ancient rifle to him for refurbishing. Over the next 18 months we talked on the phone often. I got to know Jim as a caring, honest, and forthright man, who understood what family means. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had contact with him. I pray that all who loved him are comforted in knowing what a truly wonderful human being he was.

Becky and family, I am so very sorry and I share a bit of your grief. I so enjoyed corresponding with Jim and we became such good 'pen pals'. There are times when life just isn't fair but we are given no choice. I can only extend my best wishes to you all and join you in mourning.
Love, Good Luck and Semper Fidelis!
