R I p j rev Jim mintford Higginbothan Jr

I know you're in heaven right now by the way you treated me all thoughtout my teenage age's years.the news about your passing broke my heart r I p my brother.

I volunteered at Washington UCC for many years helping to prepare meals for the homeless with Rev Jim. Such a wonderful man and example to all of us. He made great meals from less than perfect food that he somehow obtained for free. He could work wonders in the kitchen and in our hearts. I loved his piano playing and songs especially the one about boats in the harbor. His life was his message. I will forever be thankful for my time with Rev Jim.

I was most fortunate and blessed to have worked with Reverend Jim in Camp Washington several years ago and later I reconnected with him when he was the host at the Hofbrauhaus in Newport Kentucky. He was a very kind soft-hearted man and will be missed. RIP Rev. Jim

Jim Egbert family: Orville and Jim grew up together and Orville still gets some laughs remembering what they did. Going to 4H together. Helping with the Egbert reunions and Jim stopping at our house just to visit. Always glad to be with him.Even his teasing was a laugh.Miss you cousin Orville and Ruth Egbert

Jim was a long time friend of my family. My father Otto Artopoeus was a UCC minister in NKY and worked with Jim through UCC Assembly and Council Christian Communion. Both these groups supported Jim's ministry at Washington UCC Cincinnati. As a pastor at St. John UCC in Bellevue, KY my father supported Jim's Christmas program by gathering items needed for the outreach program Jim created at Washington UCC.
When I graduated from college Jim became one of my contacts for my resume. Not...

Rev. Jim was an incredible person. He changed my life in so many positive ways. Through OSFYM I found a community that accepted me for who I am, (and liked me anyway!). OSFYM friendships are some of the oldest friendships that I have. I was able to contact Jim several months ago - even with the separation since the reunion - Jim remembered me and we had a very good visit. I will never forget him.

Blessings to Jims family and to all his many his many friends.

Reverend Jim changed many lives. He'll be sorely missed.
