James Edward "Jim" Gibbs

Charlie and family,

It was a sad moment when I read that Jim Gibbs had taken his maiden flight to heaven. He was a great patriot and will be missed by all. Jean and I share your sadness and pray for God's hand to comfort all.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)

I was sadden by the news of Jim passing. Jim hired me out of the Avionics Maintenance Shop in 1976 and into the Equipment Allowance Shop at Warner Robins. I worked with him there until his retirement. He was one of the best bosses I ever had (I have 43 years Federal Service). He was not only a friend but a mentor. I will always remember the good times I had with this dear cousin when we were about 6 years old. We would tell ghost stories until we were so scared. RIP Jimmy
