Not sure what to say?

a member of central. my thoughts and prayers are with the family. a wonderful man. blessings, julia palmer

What fond memories so many of us had spending the many nights in the "dormitory" at the Holderness home. How your brothers put us with us I do not know, but they did. Also, I remember the devotions Miss Nancy had at the breakfast table every morning. A wonderful lasting impression of a Godly family. Missing Jim and loving your family, Kate Smoot Sefcik

My first call was to a small church in Kannapolis, NC (many years ago.) In the milltown of Kannapolis I was constantly receiving requests from desperate people. Our church was barely getting by, so I could do nothing to help them. I shared my dilemma with Jim, who told me not to worry about it - when I ran across a deserving need, just let him know. We were so sorry to read of your loss, Jim was such a nice person.

Dear Ginny,
I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing this morning. Jim's work for Christ and building the Kingdom will certainly continue on in the lives of those he touched and taught. He was a dynamic preacher, and genuine person, and good shepherd and pastor. God bless and keep you in His care during this time of...

I just learned of Jim's passing today. He was one of my best volunteers at Pender Correctional Institution. His ministry through Kairos was very meaningful for our inmates. He was also very instrumental in helping us secure the necessary funding to build our facility chapel which is under construction now. We praise and thank God for Jim. We shall miss him greatly.

Dan and I are so saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Jim. We fondly remember our early years in Concord and how inspiring Jim was for us. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers as your deal with your loss.

Diane and my prayers are with you and your family at this time. Jim was a true childhood friend, a wonderful person, and I have many cherished adventurous memories or our growing up together in Tarboro. May God's grace and peace be with you in this time of your sorrow. Herbert Bailey
