Not sure what to say?

He did more to help mold my life than a short note can express. I was a cadet at ISU, and he taught me what "Duty, Honor, and Country" was all about. Totally changed the direction of my life, with his care and guidance. A true leader and role model. May the Lord bless his soul. Chris Trytten, Lt. Col. USAF retired.

Jim and Dawn were so helpful when we moved into The Franklin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Roy and Carmen Steves

God bless the best Commanding Officer I ever served with... RAF Chicksands '71'-'76 ... we had some rare old chats 'after office hours' during the time I worked for 'Col J'... bless you Dawn for being one of the best wives as well... my warmest condolence to the entire Johnson family... Col J has gone PCS to the best assignment ever...

May the Lord bless the Johnson family in this time of sadness.
I met Jim and Dawn in Tripoli, Libya , 1955. Jim was a good friend and mentor who I will miss.

My best regards to the James Johnson family and offer hope for peace and comfort to all. {Joe Urice, also a 100thBG veteran. }
