Jim and Darlene have been our neighbors for 14 years in Temecula. The best neighbors anyone could ask for. Jim was always there with help or advice for our three young children. They were captivated in awe looking at his pictures and hearing his stories from years past. He led an incredible life that was filled with love, humor, adventure, and service to the people around him. We will miss his warm smile and sharp wit. What a great life - what a great man.

To Jim's family. We were sorry to see that Jim is gone but know fond memories will stay with you all. We are not able to attend the celebration but send our love.

It's always sad to lose good men, good friends. Jim gave so much of himself to the community. My personal memories are of the many years Jim was so active in, so supportive of our Aztecs. His leadership was at the highest level. And always with that big smile. My sympathies and expressions of appreciation to all of his family. --Tom Ables

Jim was my boss back in the 70's. I remember him as a very positive person. He was a great boss. I know he will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

I seldom saw Jim without a big smile. He loved life and life loved him back. He always made me feel I could stand tall no matter the situation.
