Not sure what to say?

The Compatriots of Jim Long in the Monterey Bay Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution express their deepest sympathy to the family. Jim was a valued member of our Chapter and put in many hours in support of it. He is greatly missed as a friend and compatriot.

To Mrs. Long and family: It was an honor and pleasure to serve as a docent on the USS Hornet with JIm. He was always an officer and gentleman. As a former naval aviator, I too enjoyed flying one of his favorite airplanes the Grumman F9F Panther jet. He is sorely missed by all the docent crew.

To Mrs. Long and Family:
I served as a docent on the Hornet for several years with Jim. He was a gentleman through and through and a real asset to the museum. We didn't like losing him to the Aquarium, but we knew he would be a great addition for them.
On behalf of the Hornet crew, staff and volunteers, our sincere condolences.

To Mrs. Long and family,
On behalf of all of the staff at The Paul Mortuary and myself; Thank you for allowing us to care for Mr. Long. May God comfort you all and may all of the wonderful memories you shared, bring a smile to your face and warmth to your hearts. Respectfully,
