Dear Joan
It seems just like yesterday....and a whole year has gone by. His memory is with us every day, his words echo in our minds, he will live forever in our hearts.
His insights, teachings , words of wisdom have helped and changed our lives in so many ways....we miss him terribly, just as I'm sure you miss him too.
I left a message for you, but haven't heard back, would love to talk and hear how you're doing.

I just learned of Dr. Longcope's passing. I used to work with Dr. Longcope at Emerson Hospital while I was completing my internship. I remember Dr. Longcope as a great psychiatrist who deeply cared for his patients. My thoughts are with his family at this most difficult time.

I was a patient of Dr. Longcope for more than 13 years. He helped me more than I can say. I hope he enjoyed his few years of retirement as they were well deserved! God bless.

I greatly appreciate the care Dr. Longcope gave our family over the years. In 2005, he, with his son Nathan and dog, drove three hours to visit my husband who was dying of cancer. Such compassion and spirit of giving is an inspiration. I am honored to have known him. I send my love and condolences to his family and friends.
