To the Lucas Family,
Avery was very special to our family. Lyle and Jake loved to visit with him during the fishing and hunting seasons, and Avery liked listening to the the "tall" tales shared by them. Avery shared his farming and ranching expertise with Lyle many times, and for this we are all grateful. His quiet presence will be missed by all, his children and grandchildren have a wonderful legacy to pass on.
Our prayers are with you all,
The Lyle Shaffer family

My grandpa is going to be missed. He wasn't much for words and neither am I. We are going to love him and miss him forever.
