Hi i ues work at frist coummutiy where jim manos was at Molly Schluer

Paula, while in Florida I learned of Jim's passing on November 12th.I am deeply saddened for your loss. I Pray for you and your girls during this difficult time.
In Christ,
Don S

We met Jim when my mother, Gladys Zimmer, was a resident at FCV. She and Jim would often travel the grounds together in their wheelchairs, enjoying the outside and watching the ongoing construction. When Jim's computer was on the fritz, he would borrow Mother's laptop claiming he was her new 'roommate'. So many laughs - and a visit to look forward to each day. Jim will be forever missed by many, and our thoughts go out to Paula and their beloved daughters who have lost a great man. Thank...

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your dear husband and father. I never met him but I felt like I knew him through Paula. His journey, and yours, was one of courage, respect and Faith. You are an inspiration to many. Marilyn Hovanec

Hi so sorry to hear about jim manos he was a nice guy

Paula and "the girls", there are no words to express my sadness in Jim's passing. I truly love the man- what a help he was to me as an a administrator and then as a woman who lost her parents. Always an inspiration, funny-especially with the sound maker you got him last Christmas! FIrst Community Village is mourning Jim's passing- the place just won't be the same. My heart hurts but I know he is running!!! Jim, you are the best and I love you!!!

Dear Paula and Girls,
I can remember way back when we were first married how proud Jim was of you all. That never stopped as he and Paula raised you. Now we celebrate how proud we are of the beautiful amazing way God used Jim while he was here. "Well done good and faithful servant!" Matthew 25:21
Love,
Julie

Our prayers are with Jim's family. Jim was President of Beta Theta Pi when I showed up at Ohio State and eventually became a member. His friendship and leadership were great and unforgettable. It is our hope and prayer that you get through the grief ok. God bless - Tom & Birdie Weckesser

We are very sorry to hear that Jim has died. Our father, Byron Townsend, was his roommate at FCV for a short time in 2006 and Jim was so very kind to him. Close to 90, dad was hard of hearing and had poor vision, but Jim encouraged him to keep up his interest in football, especially OSU! I often saw Jim around the village & he always stopped to chat.

With sympathy for your loss, Liane Fenimore, John Townsend and Kerry Ward
