Not sure what to say?

In 1986, this kind and gentle man diagnosed my Type 1 diabetes at Childrens' Medical Center in Dallas. He wrote my first prescription for insulin. Thirty two years and 60,000 insulin injections later... I am living well. Giving health back to dying children... what a way to have spent a life! God's peace Dr. Marks.

Dr James Marks was the doctor who diagnosed my two year old daughter with Type 1 diabetes, saving her life. My daughter is twenty-seven years old now, and we are both forever grateful to Dr Marks and the Endocrinology team at Children's.
Sincerely, Irene Mitchell and Marisa Bozarth

As a resident at Children's Medical Center and Parkland in Dallas, I looked forward to the wisdom and experience of Dr Marks. I regret not learning more about his life's journey. May he Rest In Peace knowing he did a good life's work.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Rest assured life is precious to our Creator. He promises to act in our behalf.
1 Corinthians 15:26

Dr.Marks was my first attending at Parkland Pediatric unit July 1974, when I started my internship and new life in US. He was a kind man. He taught me all the diabetes management and supported me thru out the time he was at CMC/UTSW. He was always available 24/7 He laughed a lot and loved to talk about WINE. I have fond memories of him.
RIP, Jim.

Dr. Marks was one of my attending physicians during residency at Children's Medical Center. He was always a gentle soul with a wry sense of humor. He added greatly to our community and will be missed.

The Dallas County Medical Society, its Board of Directors, members and staff express to you our deepest sympathy in the recent loss of your loved one, Dr. James Marks.

He was a valued member of DCMS and the Texas Medical Association for 30 years. His service will be truly missed by his colleagues. Your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
