Not sure what to say?

Dear Jack, Julie, Don, and Families,
Two lights have gone out of the world with the passing of your parents, yet the goodness of their lives lives on. Even with my poor memory, I remember the good times we had as families, and I know your family's friendship with Brian was something very special. Jim's work for a racially-integrated Oak Park continues to inspire me. God bless and sustain you.

My prayers and condolences to Jim and Lynn's family. Jim and Lynn were friends of Family Service in Oak Park while I was Executuve Director . We were very honored to have the McClure Family as the recipients of the1996 Rita Johnson Humanitarian Award. Dan Kill

Jim was Scoutmaster of Troop 16 when I joined Scouting. He was a fine man and very supportive throughout my years in the Troop and as member of the Camp Shin-Go-Beek staff. Many of us are indebted to his service to Scouting.

So sorry to find out Jim died and so soon after Lynn. He was a wonderful friend for so many years and also our lawyer. Know he will be greatly missed by everyone. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Don, I only met your dad once or twice, but i thank your parents for putting you and Ruth in my life, even though i haven't seen you and your wife in many years, I still think about you often, we were blessed with great dads!(troop 18 is better)...My James rest in peace and God Bless his Family, love Tk.

Steven Rezab, son of Ruth Joan Glidden, daughter of Ben Glidden, brother to Ben Jr. My mother spoke of the family often.

We will miss Jim's guidance, counsel, wisdom, zest for justice and his love of life. Dolores and Donald Register. Rest in peace dear friend!
