It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Jim. My thousand prayers are with his family. A special prayer for my friend Jacqui. Jim and Jacqui are friends going back to Nutley High school. He will be dearly missed. The below photo was a gift to me from Jim when I worked with him when he headed a Nutley High Reunion that I was part of.

Jim was such a talented artist! I remember going to one of his openings in Narrowsburg, NY and was blown away by his paintings. One large painting of a leaf, floating on water was exquisite! His eye for the “small” things in nature was astounding.
How incredibly sad that the world has lost, not only his talent but his wealth of knowledge, and bigger-than-life sense of humor.
I’m so fortunate to have known him. May he have peace.

To Jim's family, I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He played golf with my dad, John Hector who passed away last weekend. Their obituaries are next to each other. My dad met Jim through Dave Illman, I know they all had a good time out on the golf course. Your dad was always pleasant and kind when I saw him. May happy memories of him comfort you.
Sincerely,
Jeanine Hector
