Not sure what to say?

It's been ten years now. A few days ago on August 4th, it was also the anniversary of Mrs.McGuinness' passing. I still miss them both very much. What a privilege for all those who knew them! They had senses of humor that were unparalleled. Thinking of Jim, Kathy, Irene and Bill today too.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. He was a pleasure to work with and will surely be missed. LaVerne Zeitler

To the McGuinness Family,
It's our turn to give to your family what your family has given to so many. Jim and Marie reached out, treating our departed love ones with great respect and the living with great compassion. May the many stories you hear and remember comfort you.
With deepest sympathy,

Kathy, Bill & Family:

My sincere sympathy, I'm truly sorry to hear of your family's loss. He was always so kind to me over the years and so patient. A great loss of a Great man. He will be missed.

Respectfully,

Kathy, as well as the rest of the McGuinness family. Speaking for myself as well as others, we who knew Mr. McGuinness are truly saddened at his passing. Your father was a very kindhearted Irish man who cared a great deal for others in his life. He kept us all happy, every time saw him. I mostly remember seeing him almost every time I went to mass at Saint Patrick's. We'll all miss him.

Dear Kathy & family ~
I am so sorry for your loss.
Love & prayers, Sandy

I only knew Jimmy for a few years and that was when he was over 80 years old. He often visited old friends at National Park (Red Bank)and I came to know him through Jake who was his high school friend. Both these guys were of the 'greatest generation' and I so enjoyed just listening to their stories of current and past events. I was some 20-years their junior, but, being a veteran, I became one of their fold and I so looked forward to going to the park after work to run in the park and sit...

Jimmy was a life long family friend of the Summers, Gannon, Brennan and Moock families. In his capacity as funeral director he buried just about everyone on my mother's side of the family. He will be especially remembered by me for how kind he was to mom when dad died and how he took under his wing the burial of one of our nieces whose parents could not afford the cost and how kind he was to us when mom died. The same can be said over and over for all our families. One of the Greatest...

OUR FRIEND JIM
THE FIRST TIME I GOT TO REALLY KNOW JIM WAS IN RITZ BAKERY. JIM WAS SITTING AT A TABLE ALONE AND I WENT UP TO HIM AND ASK HOW HE WAS DOING? HE LOOKED ME RIGHT IN THE EYES AND SAID WHATS IT TO YOU. I DIDN'T KNOW WHETHER TO SIT DOWN OR NOT. I CHOOSE TO SIT AND MET A GREAT FRIEND. MANY JOKES. I HAD TO GET ONE ON HIM. HE ASK ONE TIME IF I THINK OF MY OLD GIRL FRIEND? I SAID ONLY WHEN I GET INVOLVED IN A FULL BLOW HURRICANE. HE LAUGHED. HE LEFT US ON A MONDAY AND THAT WAS...
