Not sure what to say?

Roy was one of my best high school buddies. we played soccer and basketball together. He was THE best goalie in South Carolina bar none. would jump in front of a train to stop a goal. always even tempered, happy and wise, loved and respected by all who knew him... i knew his (Rock Hill) family well and wish his wife and kids in Texas love as they grieve... God has a new adivsor for sure. People like Roy never die as they live on in our hearts, minds and actions.

I taught and coached Royin high school at Catawba Academy in Rock Hill SC. I and saddened at his passing. He was as fine a young man back then as I ever came across.

Everyone at Longview Cable TV loved Roy. Sorry to see him go . . .

Thanks for the memories and fun we had together as the original "cable apes" back in the good old days. We will always remember you...

We send you our deepest sympathies.
Phillip, Nicki and Aaron Slater

Rest in peace buddy. You are the best friend a guy could have. If anyone ever wondered what the right thing to do was, I'd always think of you and ask myself, what would Roy do? Our greatest condolences to the love ones you left behind. Your friend Trey

Hannah, Sorry to hear about your Dad. Will keep you in our prayers.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
