Not sure what to say?

Dear Morton Family,
I was so sad to read of your father's passing. Jim, as a Stake Missionary, helped to teach me the gospel and confirmed me a member of the church 30 years ago. Your parents were wonderful friends to me that year. He will always hold a special place in my life.
My deepest sympathy.

Dear Megan, Mackenzie and Marissa, We are so sorry to hear about your dad. Dana introduced your parents to each other and was best man in their wedding. We loved the times we spent with your family. I think Dana considered Jim to be one of his best friends.

Dear Morton Family,

My deepest sympathy and love go out to you during this difficult time. I always appreciated the wonderful welcome our whole family received from your dad. He loved us, our kids and our dogs! He was so good to coach soccer for Krissi and to welcome Mikeala whenever she would get out of our yard -- she knew exactly where to go to be loved, taken care of and have her family notified! I especially remember how good your dad was to us when we faced our tragedy...

To Jimmy's girls,

Your father delighted in telling about your exploits and many accomplishments. He was very proud of you. Jimbo was a great attorney, always a champion of the little guy. My 25 year friendship with Jim is something that I will always cherish. My condolences to your family.

One of my favorite things about Jim was his laugh. He was caring, giving and fair with the girls he coached in competitive soccer, and had a big influence on many lives, including my daughter's. His positive attitude, even temper and consistent demeanor set a great example for all whom he touched.

My deepest sympathies. I only knew Jim briefly through two different jobs, but was touched by his wit and kindness. He was truly a good man, he will be missed.

Dear Girls, I am so glad we had the time together at your Grandfather Bruce's 91st birthday. That was the last time some of us got to be with your Dad and it was pure pleasure. I love you all dearly and welcome you to our home whenever you come to San Diego. Your Dad was my only "blood" cousin, although I am very close to your Aunt Sandy. Love, your 2nd cousin Jan Hall

I will miss you Jim. Thanks for all the time you spent with us trying to make us better people on and off the field.
