Not sure what to say?

Dear Susie and family,

I just learned of Jim's passing but wanted to thank you and Jim for your kindnesses when Mike and I arrived in Franklin, Indiana in 1979. It was a long time ago, but you were both so welcoming, thank you again for the warm memories.

You are in our prayers at this time,

Pat, Lauren and Melissa Mull

Jim and I met at Cathedral H.S. and and remained friends. We followed each other after college for a while until the Navy sent me to sea for extended periods during VietNam. It was quite a pleasure to find him in Pensacola. It was a shock to see his obituary last year since I hadn't seen him due to the pandemic. I still think of him and I wish his family my deepest condolences. God bless you Jim.

Susie,

So sorry to hear about Jim. We'll say a prayer for you and your family.

2 things I particularly remember about Jim - the dance at Marian when he motioned me over and he asked me to introduce you. I guess that was your beginning and the Marian reunion whe Jim and I were giving Bob a tour of the Allisonville Mansion (off limits that night). We went upstairs and somehow found the room where the magician stored his “bag of tricks”. Jim put this thing on his finger and pulled something and it exploded!!! We laughed and told Jim he was going to be in big trouble.Later...

As a Surgeon at Baptist Hospital and North Florida Surgery Center I had the wonderful opportunity to know and work with Jim over many years. He was a gifted anesthesiologist and a great friend! I’ll miss him. By a rare coincidence, in 2010, I ran into him at The Rope Bridge while on vacation in Northern Ireland in 2010. That was an exciting and memorable event! My heartfelt condolences to his Family.

What a kind and humble man - a true gentleman . I send my love to you Susie and all your family . Jim had such a tender soul ; I hope it will be his legacy to his children and grandchildren .

What a great guy. I will miss bantering with him over politics and remember him as fine man we were blessed to know and better for knowing. Prayers coming your way from Birmingham.
