Dear family of Jim,

I am surprised and saddened to hear of your loss. I was a roommate of Jim's for 2 years at the University of Rochester. Although we have not kept in touch since college days, my remembrances of Jim are ever so positive. We spent countless hours playing chess and raquetball together at the U of R. Jim's outward personality was probably one of the humblest that I have ever known.

May God abide with you during these days of remembrance.
