Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Mr. Penley personally but I have worked with his son John who is a very professional person and is well thought of by all of his colleagues. I am sure that Mr. Penley will be missed by all that know him and his family. My heartfelt prayers go out to all the family members for their loss.

Suzette, He will always be "Jimmy" to me, since I unofficially adopted him as my big brother long ago. Being fortunate to have witnessed the two of you getting married was a highlight of my teenage years. Janice and I were just speaking about that awesome week-end! Even to this day, I still cheer for Georgia Tech, because of Jimmy. He was always so kind to me when I was at the Danby Drive house, which was quite often. Meeting all of his good-looking friends was a plus as well,...

So sorry to hear of the passing of my childhood buddy. We rode horses together in Indian Hills where we lived in Chattanooga. I have shared the story for years of Jimmy's horse trying to rub him off against the side of the barn. Sorry I lost track of him through the years.

As a childhood friend we always looked up to Jim(actually we did). On the softball team for Brainerd Baptist when things got down and dirty we called up our "secret weapon" to clear the bases. Jim would put the ball over the fence and into the pool. From all I see those of you lucky enough to know him as an adult he continued to come through for the team. There's a team up there delighted to get such a quality slugger I'm sure. Rest in peace my friend.

Suzette, Bill and I have fond memories of the fun times we shared with you & Jim. You and your family are in our prayers.

Jim was easy to love, and easy to like. One of my favorite people.

What a sweet cousin he was, a beautiful spirit in every way. And while his suffering has ended, that of those left behind has just begun. May God wrap his arms around all of you to bring you peace and strength. Love you all! Anne

What a wonderful life for such a wonderful man. Of all his accomplishments I know it was Suzette and the kids and grand kids that he was most proud. A great big brother who was handsome, intelligent, loving and funny as all get out. Love you always Jimmy James.

Our prayers go out to all of the family. Jim was a delightful man.
