James Michael Podschweit, 63, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 24, 1950 in Aurora, son of the late Herbert and Jeane (Dietsch) Podschweit.
He served in the U.S. Army. A proud Vietnam Veteran.
Jim is survived by his children, Todd (Cynthia) Podschweit, Mark (Tamera) Podschweit, Nicole Podschweit; many grandchildren; mother of his children, Maritta Babbitt; siblings, Herbert (Norma) Podschweit, Daniel Podschweit, Susan (Sam) Barrier, Judie (John) Bunder, Jean (Teddy) Self.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joel and David Podschweit.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
John and I just heard of Jimmy's passing. He will be in our thoughts and prayers.
