I remember once right after I joined SMYC, we were down at the Meadows lake, I was a brand new sailor, and was standing next to Jim. He was so very friendly and trying to give me some pointers. I remember someone came up beside me, and Jim told me to tack left, well I tacked right and ran myself and the other sailor ashore.
