MAY THE SOUL OF YOU DAD BE AT PEACE IN THE ARMS OF THE LORD. OFFERING OUR PRAYERS OF COMFORT AND PEACE DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME

Uncle Sonny was such a cool uncle to have. He did scare me when I was small, as he would always pinch my cheeks. Good memories! I am thinking of and praying for all the family. Your cousin from Fla. Charlene Robinson. (Eileen & Charles Spencers youngest daughter)

My sincere condolences to the Powers family.

So sad that he passed before I got here.I have so many fond memories as a kid, when he stopped by the house with the fire engine and all us kids were so excited..I also have so many fond memories of going out with him to the singles dance clubs, they were so much fun. Love that Uncle Sonny! Will miss you greatly! RIP

Our prayers go out to a great man and wonderful uncle who we were so blessed to have had in our lives. Not only was he a skilled firefighter but he was also the "horse shoe king" at all all of our past family´s reunions. Our condolences goes out to the entire Powers Family. We Love You Uncle Sonny, Bill & Bernice Spencer.

Thank you for the memories and many there were. It all started in 1987 when we met you through Betty. You both became part of our family for all our events. We brought in each New Year for many years. You were a lucky Irishman at poker and your smile and wonderful humor will always be remembered. You are now at peace on a glorious journey. Know you will be very much missed, dear friend. Joanie and Jim Morehouse

The void Jim leaves can never be filled by another. He was very special, and delightful to be with. I shall never forget the great times we had dancing, playing poker and cruising together. Jim was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Thanks for the unforgettable memories, Jim. Rest in peace, dear friend. My heart goes out to Jim's family, Betty and Steph. Rosemarie Fedeli
