Not sure what to say?

I am saddened with Jim's passing. Both he and Mary Lou were dear, precious friends. I shared many moments in past years with them. I know Heaven is shining with great joy that Jim and Mary Lou are reunited in God's Heavenly Home. My condolences of the loss here on earth to all the members of his family. God bless.

Jim used his keen intellect and great legal mind to adjudicate workers' compensation cases compassionately but fairly. I had the privilege of appearing before him as a young lawyer in many hearings over the years , and he was patient and kind , becoming a mentor whom I respected and admired. I have had the great honor of practicing law with Jim's late nephew , Preston, and now with his great nephew Hunter , both of whom have carried on the Reid legal legacy Jim was very proud of both .

Mr. Reid is one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. I know he will be missed my many. I had the pleasure of meeting him years back. I work for Jim Parr in Newberry and Mr. Reid came up a few days a week to help out. Sending the family prayers. Susan Swygert

I did not have the privilege of knowing Mr. Reid, but I know the legacy of a strong workers' compensation system in South Carolina and the professional associations of SAWCA and IAIABC. My condolences to his family during this time. Gary Cannon, Executive Director, SC Workers' Compensation Commission
