Not sure what to say?

Dear Peg & Family: There is no way when a thought of Jim comes to mind that a smile does not appear on my face. We all had some terrific times in the past and the nice memories do not just fade away in time. And so long as we live so does all the good memories Jim is and was a part of making said memories. Prayers to Jim and to his lovely wife Peg. Jeff Moriarty

In these several years since Jims passing, I have often thought of the good times and great laughs together. Sharing some of those rich stories of trying to grow our respective moving companies and the characters and customers that were a part of it all brought us very close as friends, and respected as competitors. Unusual, yes, but fun and full of funny stories! Jim and Peggy, you live on in the vivid memories of Jean & Bob Eidsvold

Peggy,

Jim and me had been emailing back and forth up until the day of his death. I was devastated to hear of Jim's passing. The World is an emptier place without Jim but Heaven gained one of the best joke tellers! I loved Jim like a brother and will miss him just as so many others. Jim has left me with so many wonderful fun memories.

Marcia and me send our sincerest sympathy to you and your family. May God's Blessings be upon Jim and your family.

To Peggy and family

Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Jim was a good man who knew how to live a life with meaning. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

As an employee of Appleton Moving & Storage, I was swept along in a dynamic transformation ... A small moving company became a large extended "Schroeder Family". Jim was a leader, a shrewd and driven business man but he went out of his way for the community and the "Schroeder Family". Personally, Jim & company, helped me through a very trying time, in ways that just doesn't happen in "business". Compassion understanding and a hand up. From my point of view, his integrity touched so many...

To all,
I was saddened to read about Jim's passing. However, I smile soon came on my face as I reminisced all the fine memories of Jim's visits after a hard day or to pick up some fish lunches. His neat smile and great demeanor left a lasting impression on me. Wish I could say more to relieve some of the grief you are all experiencing. God bless Jim, his family and friends. Paul Schreiter

Your extended family in Louisiana will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. I haven't seen Jim in many years, but remember fun visits to the Schroeder home when we were growing up. We are so sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences, may you be comforted by all the warm memories you have shared together. Nancy Thomas of Thomas Transfer and Storage Co., Emporia, Kansas.
