SCOGIN, James, Jr. Mr. James "Jimmy" Harper Scogin, Jr. of Fayetteville, died November 8, 2008. Jimmy loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents James Harper Scogin and Margaret Cawthon Scogin. He is survived by his wife Sandra Scogin of Fayetteville; son James "Jip" & Melanie Scogin, III, their children Jamie and Jayde, of Winston, GA; daughter Patricia Scogin and her son Jonathan Hobbs of Fayetteville; step-daughter Tonya & James Dean and their children Christopher Marti and Cheyenne Dean of Peachtree City; sisters Patricia Scogin and Jan Hanekamp; brother Benny Scogin as well as nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Ken Rose will officiate. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hospice Atlanta, 6610 Bay Circle, Suite C, Norcross, GA 30071.
