Not sure what to say?

Jeannie and family, Just heard of the passing of your beloved husband and father. I am so sorry for your loss. Jim use to always bring a smile or laughter whenever he visited the Men's Basketball Office. What a great friend of the program.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless.

Shanahan family I'm so sorry I just heard of Jim's passing. Words cant express how much I thought of Jim and how much I'll miss seeing him listening to the stories. He was a very proud husband and father . He spent half his visit talking about the family and the other half his stories. My best to all his family I can almost see his smile and him saying Hi Pop has he meets up with his father.
What a wonderful man.

Sorry to hear this. Jim was always good to me. I raised my family working for Shanahans and I always respected him.

When I was a young man living in Camden, NJ, Jim was my basketball coach when I was about 13. He then gave me an opportunity to work for Shanahan's Express Trucking Company to make some money in the summer. I attended his beloved St. Joseph's where I played basketball and football for a couple of years. Jim was very instrumental in my growth and progress as a young man. His toughness and kindness stick out in my mind. I thank God that I had the opportunity to thank Jim. I spent 23 years...

Jeanie and family - we were so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We have such fond memories of Jim and all the Shanahan's watching EA basketball games and later catching up at Temple football games. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Fondly, Bill and Sheila Wallace

I graduated high school with Jimmy. He was always so nice and fun to be around. I'm sorry for your loss.

I will miss my Uncle Jimmy. I always called him Mr . Shanahan out of reverence and respect. When my father passed away, I was only 18. Mr. Shanny took me under his wing and mentored and helped me, my family and was always there for my sick mother and became a life long friend. He , along with his wife ,raised one of the best families I will ever know. The Shanahans will always be in my prayers. I am absolutely sure he is a having a well deserved Manhattan with my father Ferdinand and my...
