Not sure what to say?

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Growing up, I remember the love and kindness and great singing and you, Helen, his beautiful wife! Love and hugs to you and your family....

Dad, your loss on earth is a gain in Heaven! We love you and will miss you here...til we see you again!

Steve and Sorrells family, I am so sorry for the loss of Brother Sorrells. He was a kind and gentle man. I will cherish the wonderful memory of him. May the Lord Bless You and give you Peace.

Steve,Becky and family we are very sorry to hear about your dad. May the good Lord wrap his loving arms around each of you and comfort you during this difficult time.

When I went to work at CTIW in l969, Jake was my boss. He was the kindest boss I had ever known. He was always a professional, classy and dignified person. But at the same time he had a good sense of humor. I enjoyed working for him for many years. In later years, I would see him and Helen at Picadilly, Chic Fil A and then at Dr. Loden's office. He was a warm and caring person. May God bless you now Helen. You aand your family. I know you all have many, many memories. Jake was indeed a fine...

I sit here humbled by the fact that I got to know this great man.
Mr. Sorrells, or as I called him "Pa" was such a treasure to be around.
I loved talking with him about everything and nothing. He always had such great advice.
I believe he had a bleeding heart, if you will, towards people in general..towards life. He was such a good man and you could see in his eyes the debth of kindness he carried.

Mrs. Sorrels, I am so sorry for your loss. Our deepest...

Mrs. Sorrels,
I am saddened to hear of your loss of a wonderful man. My two years at the ACU MFT program with Jimmy were made so much better because of his presence. He was very dear to me and a very special leader for our group. I know you will miss him very much and I celebrate with you and your family the exemplary life that he led and his entrance into eternity with the Father. Peace to you and your family, sincerely, Martha Foy

What an incredible life he led, and what an incredible influence he had on my life. I will miss him even though I haven't seen him in several years. He was always in my thoughts.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Mr. Sorrells was a big influence to me growing up, and I still treasure my study bible I got for graduation. He was a great man, and he will be missed, but not forgotten. The Lord has a wonderful angel!
