Not sure what to say?

To the Stackpole family, Janet, Michael, Patrick and Kerin, daughters-in-law and grandchildren,

I want to offer my sincere sympathy for your loss.

Jim was so proud of and devoted to all of you, his family.

Yet, for me, he was the finest senior partner, mentor and friend I could have had throughout my professional career. Although I don't practice anymore, I will continue to miss his quiet wisdom, his dry sense of humor and his heartfelt encouragement.

Hugs and Prayers to your family! Our family appreciated Jim and Janet when they visited my Dad (Ken Ho) in the hospital and then rehab before he died. We have wonderful memories of the UVM '56 doctors coming to our chalet for the reunions. No doubt that the group of them are sitting around rehashing the old medical school stories up in heaven!
Love and Peace to you all! - Evelyn Ho/Connie Ho

To Jan, Michael, Patrick, Kerin,
Jane and I were so sorry to read of the passing of Jim. He was the pediatrician for our four children back in the 60's until they reached adulthood and delivered great medical care and counsel for all those years for which we will be forever grateful. You all know he was admired by all in the community and will be missed. We hope your memories of Jim, husband and father will help to comfort you all in his passing. Jane and I are in Naples and could not...

To Janet and family,
I am saddened to learn of Jim's passing, and I send my love and condolences to all of you. He was such a special friend and doctor who guided me (as a new and young mother) through all the bumps and bruises. I remember when I had my fifth daughter he left a note on my bed in the hospital - "Well Sue you have another one without outside plumbing." Thank you so much for your love and care throughout their growing-up years. (and mine!)

Sending thoughts and prayers to the family of Dr. Stackpole. I am grateful to have had him as my pediatrician. He was a kind and gentle man.
