Not sure what to say?

I just stumbled across this. I haven't lived in C-U for almost 25 yrs. now but just ran across the High Times James was on. How long have I carried that around and still will never part. What a light, never gone and always remembered. I knew him socially and he was always a friend. RIP

TO THE WINSON FAMILY.
MAY YOUR HEART BE COMFORT DOING THIS TIME OF SORROW.
AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO COVED YOU IN HIS LOVE AND GRACE AND KNOW HE LOVE YOU WYLENE AND WE ARE PRAYING WITH YOU AND FOR YOU.

Jim visits downtown Champaign. NEVER FORGOTTEN.

You had a magnificent, wide, open smile, and a tremendous embracing warmth. You made me happy every single time I ever saw you, from the first instant you appeared in any landscape. Rest in peace.

Ra Ra celebrates the 4th of July

The Brother was always real cool
with me. A real great person.

Today is the day after Christmas, the first anniversary of your death, Jimmy. The sun was here in your hometown. But no you. And no Peterson party. All in all, a lousy holiday on this side.

Still, maybe you and all on that side are having a fine old time, way out there. Hope so!

I haven't seen you since 1985, Rasta...but I will never forget your smile and contagious laugh...your loving "come to Jamaica and be my woman"...your huge roller skates, cruising across the quad. I will miss walking in Murphy's, knowing you would be there with a lovely and happy story of catfishing, with your big rumbling laugh. I will miss you as so many others already do.

The Fourth of July parade and parties will never be the same without you, your crazy hat and your crazy ways, Wilson!
Another big day of missing you. Here's hoping you're out there celebrating a far greater Independence.
