Not sure what to say?

So saddened and sorry to read of Barry's passing. Prayers for the family. Jonell Tobin, BCHS classmate.

Gordon, I have thought about you and Barry many times with fond memories. To JoAnn and Alan--may your memories of both your wonderful parents be a comfort to you.

JoAnn & Alan, I'm so sorry for your loss. Barry was so much more to me than a boss. He was so good to me and I never forgot that kindness. He gave me a chance and I never forgot that. His personality was bigger than life, and I kept up with him throughout 35 years of friendship. May God surround you with his comfort and love. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Memories will keep you going and dwell in them. If there is anything I can do to help you, please call on me. I will...

Uncle Barry was a soft spoken, big-hearted Southern gentleman who always had an encouraging word for me. I will miss him dearly, but I know Aunt Beverly is so happy to have him back! JoAnn and Alan, I pray the dear memories sustain you for a lifetime. They loved you so much! God bless you both for the rest of life's journey. Your family is here to support you any way we can, so reach out often.

BURNIE and MARCELLA Mercer gives their condolences to the family.

JoAnn, Alan, Gordon and family, Sending our sympathy to you on the loss of our friend, Barry. We have so many fond memories of your family when you were our neighbors in Kelly Heights in Hawesville. We were all young families raising children. We learned to love Beverly and Barry for their unique personalities. These years were the beginning of their love for golf. We kept in touch after they moved to Owensboro. It was a joy to hear Barry tell a story about his adventures. We are so...

I knew Barry from selling him John Deere equipment to cars for the county for many years. He came & saw me just a few weeks ago so to say I'm socked is a under statement. I'm out of town & cant make it. I always thought the world of Barry & would do anything for him. I never considered him a customer but a great friend who I will always treasure. I hope I can be half the
man he was. So sorry for your loss. I will always treasure our friendship.

So very sorry to hear about Woody. Vicki and I are in Florida and are unable to make it to the service I had the pleasure of working with him for 28 years at Big Rivers. He was a very dear friend. Anytime a vender wanted to take me out for lunch and I ask Woody if I could go he would always say what time are we leaving. He even got me to play golf a couple times. He was always trying to buy my cars when I was getting a new one He bought several and always said he paid way to much, but he...

JoAnn and Alan, I am so sad to learn of Barry's passing. I am content knowing that he and Beverly are once again together, he loved and missed her so much. I have enjoyed talking and visiting with him in the past and will miss that, he had a great dry sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. So many will morn his passing but we know that he was a good guy ready to meet his Lord. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Loved Beverly and Barry, so sorry! Hugs to you both.
