RUSCH, Jamie Renee (Wilson) - Of Flint, age 43, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the presence of her family.
Jamie was born in Mt. Clemens on August 21, 1974, a lifelong resident of the Flint area and a graduate of Kearsley High School, Class of 1992. She earned two Bachelor Degrees from The University of Michigan, one in Liberal Arts, the most recent in Social Work. Jamie worked for many years at Premier Tooling Systems, and most recently at Diplomat Pharmacy. She was a verocious reader, with fantasies/sword and sorcery being her favorite genre. Jamie enjoyed being with her family and friends, loved to dance, hear music of the 80’s, play cards and board games, never shying away from an opportunity to have fun. Jamie was the life of the party. A bright light in the room. Traveling vacations were just as enjoyable to Jamie, as well as the peacefulness of a good cross stitch project. Jamie set goals for her life, and did not waver in her view of the target. She met her soulmate, Brad Rusch, marrying him on April 14, 2012. She wanted a family, and on September 8, 2015, Allison Jane Rusch was born into this world. Jamie wanted to help others and after college found the job that fulfilled that desire, at Diplomat Pharmacy. Jamie was quick of wit, gentle with touch, tough minded and determined. Her strong determination led her thru the four-year battle for her life.
Jamie leaves behind her husband, Brad; sweet baby girl, Allison; parents, Cindy and Thom Self of Burton, Michael and Bonnie Wilson of Bullhead, AZ; brother, Michael Wilson of Tampa, FL; sisters, Megan Self of Burton and Kelly Self of Springfield, KY; niece and nephew, Matthew and Michaela Wilson of Tampa, FL;

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Road, Flint.
In lieu of flowers, the family will create an educational fund for Allison Jane Rusch.
