Jance Sellers Smith

Mrs. Janice Sellers Smith, 70, widow of Robert Hagood “Bob” Smith, Jr., of Marion passed away after a brief illness, wither family by her side on the afternoon of January 11, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Janice, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, was born on May 4, 1951, in Horry County, South Carolina, a daughter to the late Henry S. Sellers and the late Betty Elizabeth Skipper Sellers. Janice spent her time as a homemaker, making sure her family was loved and cared for. Janice was blessed with a special trait to help others anyway she could, she loved this, and people loved her for it. She will be missed by all.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Amanda Snipes (Terry) Cook of Marion; her granddaughter, Savannah Makenzie Snipes; a brother, Henry L. Sellers of Marion; her sisters: Erma (Blair Carter) Rollins of Marion, Wanda B. (Floyd) Thompkins of Longs, and Theresa S. (Joe) Cooke of Marion; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law; and several special friends.

A graveside for Mrs. Smith will be held Friday morning, January 14 at 11:00 A.M. in Devotion Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Allen officiating, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. The family will greet friends and well-wishers at the cemetery following the service.
