Jane E. Bashara

Jane E. Bashara, age 56 of Grosse Pointe Park, died suddenly on January 25, 2012. She was born on June 22, 1955 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of John and Lorraine Engelbrecht. Mrs. Bashara held a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University. She was a senior marketing manager for KEMA Services in Detroit, an energy consulting, testing and certification company. Jane was an active member of the Grosse Pointe community and was a past president of the Grosse Pointe South High School Mother's Club. Janes is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert; her son Robert, Jr, her daughter, Jessica, her sisters Janet Gottsleben (Mark) and Julie Rowe (Greg), her brother John Engelbrecht (Lois); and her parents John and Lorraine Engelbrecht. The family will receive friends and visitors from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road in Grosse Pointe Woods. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Grosse Pointe Memorial Church, 16 Lakeshore Road in Grosse Pointe Farms. Rev. Marianna Gronek will be officiating the Service.
