Not sure what to say?

Dear Artelia,
I was so saddened to learn of the passing of my childhood friend, and am so sorry that we lost touch. I have vivid and fond memories of Jane. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

David, Artelia and families, I can only say how wonderful it was to have Jane as my dear friend. I will miss her crazy sense of humor, our long talks and her emotional support. She was the closet thing to a sister that I had. I will always appreciate the blessing that she was to my life over the past 45 years that began at Fisk University. She came to know the power of the Holy Ghost and now she is enjoying the peace that transcends all of our earthly understanding. Rest in peace Jane....

Sorry for your loss, Jane was an excellent journalist and will be sorely missed.

I no longer live in indianapolis, but reside in missouri now. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jane was an excellent journalist and will be sorely missed. Sylvia Cannon, St. Louis, Missouri
