PITTS, Janice B., 76, of Henrico, Va., passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, E. Berkley Pitts Sr. Janice was president of B&B Seafood Co. and Janice's Kitchen. She was an active member of Oakwood Memorial

Baptist Church. Janice is survived by her sons, Everett B. Pitts Jr. (Karen), Bryan D. Pitts (Barbara), Larry P. Pitts Sr. and Larry P. Pitts Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tammy, Brittney and Ethan; great-grandson, Emmett; and caregivers, Nancy and Rose. The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231, on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, Va. 23222, on Friday, June, 15 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Gay Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231, or at www.oakwoodmemorialbaptistchurch.org.

I only recently learned of the passing of Mrs. Pitts I do however live in Lawndale Farms. Mrs. Pitts will be greatly missed for her beautiful lawn which was always well manicured. And all the lovely flags she would have flying at her home.

I didn't know Mrs. Pitts personally nevertheless Lawndale Farms will truly miss her!

Larry, not sure that you will remeber us, we lived across the road from your parents, (McCarthys)..I just heard today about your mom, so very sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers are w/ you all.
