Jannie Lee Harrison Stovall

JANNIE LEE HARRISON STOVALL- a yellow Rose was born on August 3, 2009 to replace Jannie Lee Harrison Stovall as she passed from this life. Ms. Stovall was born to Jack and Roxie Harrison (both deceased) on March 14, 1947. Her sister Shirley Harrison Davison preceded her in death. Ms Stovall attended Texas Southern University before becoming a graduate of Memphis State University, Memphis TN. The joy of Ms. Stovall’s life was enjoyed by all who came in contact with her. Through her time working in the church, teaching in the schools, or working in the many odd jobs that she engaged in, she always managed to touch someone and to display her beautiful spirit. Ms. Stovall was married to Joseph E. Stovall in 1969 and from that union two children were born. She is survived by daughter Teshia Monae Stovall Dula of Atlanta, GA, and her husband Michael Dula and three grandchildren: Michael Alyssa, and Nathaniel; and a son Joseph Lee Stovall also of Atlanta and his wife Kecia Burton Stovall and a host of family and friends. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Paradise Funeral Home, Houston, Texas. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Interment will follow at Cleveland Memorial Gardens, Cleveland Texas.
