I was saddened to hear that Jarred passed.
I remember Jarred and Mason coming to Tyler's birthday parties and all of them going to Boy Scouts together.
Recently I saw Jarred at work in Columbia City and had time to chat with him a bit about the Army and what he was up to these days.
Jarred will be missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

To my son Jared; I will miss out on our father son calls together while you were growing up, to when you were stationed in South Korea and I was close by in China.
I keep your last message on my phone saying I love you dad, to our last conversation Thursday March 24th when you were excited to send for your passport and go on a journey with me.
My sadness was hard to except knowing you will not make our journey together after all of our planning.
Everyday I only know the excitement, and see your smile in my thoughts knowing some day we will be together once again
Jared my son, you are in a better place and though I am sad you will not travel with me now; I know you will travel when I meet you again soon.
I love you so very much and thank you for making my days brighter when I needed someone. Your brothers Brandon, Bryce and Brett cried for days as all of us were very saddened to see you left us at this early time in your life.
You are my loving son and brother of three heart broken young men that will always have you in our hearts until we meet again on our terms.
Jared Ruhl enjoy the other side and know that you are a Ruhl with love in your soul. I know your travel will forever be safe, while all of us are looking forward to meeting up with you soon.
Love always your father Steven Ruhl and loving brothers Brandon, Bryce and Brett

I can't begin to express how much sorrow my heart holds right now. I know you're up in heaven jamming out to Back Street Boys looking over us all. Words cannot express how thankful I am for the impact you've made in my life. Love you Jarred, and I miss you so much.

"In Memory of our SPECIAL BROTHER... Today is full of memories of a brother laid to rest and every single on of them is filled with happiness. For you were someone special always such joy to know and there was so much pain when it was time to let you go. That's why this special message is sent to heaven above for the angels to take care of you and give you all our live." Also survived by Jarred's brothers: Brandon Ruhl, Bryce Ruhl and Brett Ruhl and adoptive father, Steve Ruhl. You are gone but never forgotten. We will never stop loving you. See you in our future at God's side.

So sad to see my friend taken so young and in this way. So proud to call him a friend after meeting Jarred at the gym and we would workout together regularly. My heart goes out to his family as I will continue to lift you all in my prayers in this very difficult time. God Bless, Jeff Fair
