Not sure what to say?

Our mother asked me to write a little note and express her sincere gratitude, to all of you, for all your kind thoughts and prayers for Jeannie and our family.

Your compassionate words and special remembrances of Jeannie have been a comfort to our entire family and we are so thankful that Jeannie had so many precious friends.

A very sincere and heartfelt "Thank you" to all of you.....

.

I want to send my belated condolences to Jeannie's family and friends. I worked with Jeannie for many years at Bethesda and St.Joe's. I am in a state of disbelief. I always admired and highly respected Jeannie as a friend and colleague. She was an excellent nurse and possessed the qualities of what your image of the perfect nurse would be,kind, compassionate, gentle, caring ,non-judgemental ,and very knowledgeable and intelligent.
I don't have a computer of my own so this has been my...

Some happy news to share with Jeanne's friends and family....

On Tuesday November 16, workmen at Jeanne's house found Jeanne's kitty, Emma, alive and hiding in the bedroom closet.... 3 weeks after the fire.

Emma has lost weight and muscle mass but the vet believes she will recover well. Emma spent Tuesday evening on Kirsten's lap, purring as her fur was being brushed out.

Emma will still have a home in our family... Miracles do happen...

Dear family & friends of Jean Bjorkman,

Monday was the first day I had to confront Jeannie's empty desk & chair at work. We've been fortunate to have a number of people helping us out during this difficult time. I once again realized how hard this is for each of us who worked with Jeannie over the years. We expect that when we leave work on Friday that everyone will be there on Monday morning - that nothing will change. We have learned how much can change in the blink of an...

It is truly with family and friends that life's value and meaning are validated and enriched. The loss of anyone we love brings unimaginable sorrow. We share the sorrow of your family as ones who have shared in its joyful times: the marriage of our children, the birth of our grandchild, and the celebrations of birthdays and holidays. Jeannie always brought a rich sweetness to these family gatherings; we will miss her. We wish you comfort and God's love. (Mike’s parents)

A light has gone out in the world. And when it is a light as bright as Jean's, the world is the darker for it. But the wonderful thing about such a tragedy is the warmth and comfort that is created as friends and family get together to celebrate her life. I feel the light that is created by our togetherness helps to recall some of the light she brought us all.
I met Jean about 10 years ago and since then I have realized she is one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever known....

I am so very sad to hear of the loss of our dear friend and co-worker. I had the great privilege of working with Jeanne at St. Joe's and later at St. John's. Jeanne is a sweet, gentle spirit who introduced me to opera, Jane Austen, and other great treasures. The Quality Management team at HealthEast was always a close group during my tenure there - we shared anecdotes about our families all the time. At the same time as Karin's wedding was just about to be celebrated, my mother-in-law...

I worked with Jeannie in the Quality Management Department at St. Joe's Hospital a few years ago. My best memories of her are her sweetness and her love of family. She was so proud of her nieces and their accomplishments. I sincerely wish to express my sympathy to Jeannie's family and friends, as I know she will be sorely missed. She was a ray of sunshine in many people's lives. God bless you all, you have your special angel in Heaven looking out for you.

I worked with Jeanne at St. Joe's Hospital in the Quality Management Department. Jeanne will be missed by all who knew her. Her quiet spirit and her kindness to everyone she encountered will long be remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this sad time.
