Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear about the death of Mrs. Byrd. I worked with her at Gretna Elementary. She was so full of life and seemed so happy. My prayers are with her family.

Ken, Pat and Kevin,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Vicky & Robert High

Thank you everyone for your kindness during our family's time of grief. Ken and I are blessed to have had such wonderful parents who landed in Gretna as the homestead for the rest of our lives. The Gretna community is and always will be considered extended family in our hearts. Arlene, Delores, Joyce A, Nancy Bennett, Nancy and Glen Bond, Carroll and Lillian Davidson, sweet Kate, Deborah Moran, and so many more.....thank you for your diligent oversight these past few years while she was...

Jean was a pleasure to be around and always happy. She will be missed. Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Some of my greatest childhood memories are of me and Kevin playing at Jean and Roger's. Jean was a wonderful and kind hearted woman with one of the greatest laughs I have ever heard. She will surely be missed by me and my family because we all truly feel she was a part of our family. I will be praying for you all in the...

Ken and Family, I just want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Words seem so inadequate to bring comfort but I hope you will feel the comfort of God during this time. May His presence surround you and His strength sustain you. May your sweet memories bring joy and peace to your heart. We love you and will keep you close in prayer.

So sorry to hear about Jean. She was a wonderful lady who I remember always seeing her, along with your dad, when I attended Gretna Elementary. In my grown-up years I spent playing golf with Jean and she was and will be a true Gem in Heaven. Our love to you all during this difficult time. Love, Larry and Tammy Betterton and family
