Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mrs. Lang's passing. It's fitting that she passed on my birthday. She was my all-time favorite teacher over 40 years ago at Grant school. And of course I was her favorite student! Myself and the hundreds of others she must have taught over the years. She had that unique way of making everyone feel like they were the most special person in the world. What a great and wonderful woman. She will be missed but never forgotten.
My sincere condolences to her family.

Mrs. Lang was one of those persons whom I remember as most often having a smile on her face. Such persons are rare, and clearly worth remembering.

I was so sad to hear of Mrs Lang's passing but was so glad she got to spend 89 years on this earth. I had her more than 30 years ago at Grant and I still see her teaching us. Standing over per podium and leaning over it as she told us her funny stories. What a neat lady. God welcomes a wonderful angel into heaven. To her family prayers of peace during this difficult time.

I send my condolences to Jean Lang's family.

I too, had the wonderful experience of being her student at Grant Elementary School more than 30 years ago.

She was such an elegant woman and had such enthusiasm for all of her students. I can still hear her deep, gregarious laugh and recall the warmth of her expansive hugs!

In sympathy and fond remembrance of a woman who touched so many lives,

My sisters and I were a few of those kids that Mr. Schueneman is speaking of in his post. Thirty years later, we still fondly speak of Mrs. Lang. She made an impression on each one of us and she will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Lang was one of those teachers that you could never forget! She touched your life the moment you walked through the door and her humor, laugh and joy in being a teacher stayed with you the rest of your career! I feel blessed to have known her. She will be missed by many.

I was very sad to hear that Mrs. Lang had passed away. Mrs. Lang believed in her students and felt they could achieve anything they set their mind and hearts on! Mrs. Lang, gave me so much more than an education a kindness that will never be forgotten! May God embrace this special angel! To Mrs. Lang's family thank you for sharing this wonderful woman with us her students at Grant Elementary School.
