Not sure what to say?

I am saddened at the loss of such a wonderful friend. Jean and I met at Odeessa Physical Therapy where she was a wonderful part of my class. She helped my daughter collect suitcases for her Girl Scout Gold Award. I keep you all in my prayers and thoughts for your loss. May God give you comfort and many memories to help you through this difficult time.

Mrs. Weir was one of my favorites! She served us well in the days of the pepettes, I remember how fun her and Mrs. Jeffers were, and she set such a wonderful example for us. My prayers go out to your family.

Becky Hicks Lucas (Class of 1981)

I can still hear her wonderful laugh! I can't recall ever seeing Mrs. Weir when she wasn't smiling and/or laughing. It seemed to be the duty of some of the boys in Health to crack her up and she would oblige them. Hers was the only class I never minded getting homework in; she made class such a joy for me, so homework wasn't a chore. I will surely miss her. Thanks to her family for sharing her with us.

I loved Mrs Wier. What a special lady. I didn't have her classes, but she was a powerful presence at Permian. She was loving, but tough & strong. What a smile! And that look she could give you! Heaven received a great one Thursday. Mojo '75

I too have great memories of Mrs. Wier and the Permian Pepette days! I remember the girls of '76 drove her crazy but she still loved and cared for us. She was truly a great sponsor, fan and example for all of us. She will be missed and always fondly remembered by many. Thank you for sharing your mom.

Mrs. Wier was one of the kindest, most lovable teachers at Permian. She made me feel special at a time in my life when I felt anything BUT special. I will never forget her humor, her kindness, and her love for all of us. John, I'm thinking about you.

What a great lady with such a positive impact on so many lives! As my health teacher and pepette sponsor, she was encouraging and fun. I enjoyed seeing her again at water aerobics with my mom in recent years. I'm sure you are not surprised that she was the life of the party with everyone encircled around her captivated by whatever she said. She was so kind to attend my father's memorial service this past November. May God fill the places where you miss her and bring you comfort knowing...

In remembering and in celebration of her life, the teachers we are exposed to growing up are many; however, few have left their legacy on so many. Mrs. Wier is one of those special people who have touched so many lives. You can't help but smile when you think back on her and Mrs. Jeffers and the energy, love and support that they reflected to all of us every day. As a Peppette, these ladies made it fun and demanded discipline in what was being represented. You were truly proud to be a part of...

What a lovely lady with a servant heart. Heaven is rejoicing, as is Buddy!
