Jeanette Neill Johnson

Mrs. Jeanette Neill Johnson passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015, at her residence near Nacogdoches, Texas, at the age of 80. Mrs. Johnson was born August 13, 1934, at Trawick, Texas, to parents Norman Elmer Neill and D. Wilda Mitchell Neill and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Cushing High School. She was married to Ernest (Larry) Johnson for over 59 years before his death on August 23, 2012. Jeanette was dedicated to her family as a homemaker as well as helping operate Flying J Ranch and Larry Johnson Construction. Jeanette was a member of Bonita United Methodist Church. Jeanette's life was very fulfilled with the love of her family and faith in her Lord. Her survivors include her sons, Stanley Johnson and wife Rose and Richard Johnson and wife Wanda; daughter, Teresa Barrett and husband Alvis; grandsons, David Johnson and Dustin Johnson and wife Angela; granddaughters, Dayna Johnson, Casey Johnson, Lindsey Watson and husband Matt, Kimberly Barrett, and Michelle Rayford and husband Billy; great-grandchildren, Juan, Dusti, Alex, A.J., Ty, Logan, Victor, Noah, and Libby; and a sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Law and husband Doug. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Elmer Mitchell Neill and Tommy Neill; sister, Peggy Rowlett; and granddaughters, Kimberly Ann Johnson and Lesha Skelton Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015, at Cason Monk-Metcalf's Sunset Chapel with Rev. David Coleman and Rev. Rick Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Jerry Dean Neill, Matt Watson, John Crain, and Doug Clark. Honorary pallbearers are Juan Guadarrama, Charles Neill, James Kerss, Marion Neill, and Jerry Neill. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be offered to Bonita United Methodist Church.
