Not sure what to say?

Dear Sherry and family--
I was so sorry to hear the news about Jeff. We didn't see each other very often after high school but the few times we did will remain in my mind as wonderful memories. He acted like he had seen me yesterday and we had lots of laughs. He was a very special person and will be missed. Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

Sheri, children, and the Middleton Family. My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Jeff and I hung around while in High School. I admired Jeff and only knew him in the earlier years. I did visit with him in 1988 after I retired from the Army and came back to Grand Rapids for a visit. I'm sure he is in a better place.

Dear Sherry,Joe, Brandy, Sam and Families,
Jeff was the glue--the foundation, the soul of the family--his love and zest for life brought us all together....when I think of him, I will think of like this...."death is nothing at all. It does not count. He has only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remians exactly as it was. I am I and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly togher is untouched...unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that...

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I pray the Lord will grant you peace in the midst of this time of grieving.

Jeffy, I will always love you and miss you. You were always there for me. I can't stand the thought of not being able to talk to you on the phone every day. Save a place for me. Your big brother, Johnny Boy

So saddened to hear of the passing of Jeff. We have many fond memories of hanging out with your family growing up. The years have flown by and we don't often see each other that often but it was always a blessing to run into you. We love you Middleton's and we pray for peace as you mourn and grieve. Know that you are loved!

Dear Sherry, Joe, Sam, and Brandy,
We were shocked to hear the news of Jeff's/your dad's death. We had no idea that anything was wrong. We would have been praying for Jeff and all of you to encourage you in your great time of need. We will now be praying that the peace that passes all human understanding, that only comes from the Lord, will wrap around all of you. Time, distance, and lives moving in different directions have kept us from staying in touch but our love for all of you...

Dear Middleton Family;

I am saddened to hear about the untimely passing away of Jeff. The world around us seems to be changing soo rapidly, but the inner peace and friendship stays the same. I would like you to realize that we care for you,in your time of sorrow.

Seems strange to know the phone isn't going to ring as I am walking out the door and hearing "Ha Barb, how in the heck are you? When will Joe be back? This is Jeff." Just thinking about when life was simpler and we would just take off on the boats out on the lake for the day or bingo in the evening in GH. I think we may have some pictures from that era, I will have to check and if so, see that they are shared with you. Seems like we have one with Jeff laughing as Gordon was trying to make the...
