My heartfelt condolences to the Stern family. What a caring teacher,administrator,co-worker and person.I'm glad to have had the honor of knowing him.

I am saddened to learn of Mr. Stern's passing. I had him for American History at P.H.S. during the '74-'75 school year. He was my favorite high school teacher and I never had a teacher whom I liked more. He was enthusiastic and made the material that he taught interesting. While I have many fond memories of his class, the lively discussions that we had, including one about the gold standard and the causes of inflation, come to mind first. I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Stern. I had him as my Geography teacher with the class of 75. He was a great and caring man who loved what he did and cared so much for the students. I have fond memories of him as a teacher and will never forget his kindness to me. May he rest in the shelter of God's wings at this time. [Ps. 91:1] Praying for his family that God will comfort them in their time of sorrow.

My prayers to the Stern family. Mr. Stern was a well-respected and great teacher.

Mr. Stern was my favorite teacher at PHS. I had him for History 2 years in a row (72-74). He taught me so much and I have always remembered how much he cared about the success of his students. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Mr. Stern's family.

Roseanne- my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so thankful that our paths have crossed at different points in my life and I hope they cross again soon. You know my favorite "Mr. Stern " story is when all the students staged a walk out and no disciplinary action was taken.......he looked me straight in the eye and told me he expected more from then to follow ........I never forgot that. A blessing to me that our paths crossed again and again. Love to you and your family.
