Jennifer Edwards Obituary
She was born January 19, 1966, in San Angelo, TX, to John and Veronica (Halfmann) Clark. She was a registered nurse at Midland Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Justin Edwards of Odessa, Chris Edwards of Anchorage, Alaska, daughter Theresa "Hope" Edwards of Odessa, sisters, Amanda Clark of Tyler, TX, Stephanie Doane of Schertz, TX and four grandchildren.
Jennifer, or "paddlefoot" as she was nicknamed early on in childhood by her daddy, loved watching her son Justin play sports. She took great pride in watching his successes in both football and baseball growing up. She was extremely honored to be Chris' mother when he enlisted in the military to serve his country. Her eldest child and only daughter made her proud the day she graduated from her beloved University of Oklahoma in 2009.
All of her family will deeply miss her. Jennifer touched everyone she came into contact with and was always the first to lend a helping hand be it to one of her children or to a complete stranger.
There will be a visitation from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 29th, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Ector County Cemetery with Monsignor James Bridges officiating.

I have many fond memories of you and I working together at MCH and driving out to Hobbs, NM every week to work on our BSN. I am very sad to have to say good bye but trust that you are with God now. I am praying for you and your family during this difficult time. RIP Jennifer.

This is your dearest daughter Hope. I miss you so much. You were loved by me and so many others. It is obvious to see that you touched so many lives and in such a positive way. You were an angel here on earth and now you are an angel in heaven. I miss you so much momma. I'm just relieved that God finally took your pain and you can be peaceful now. Dog shows and football games will never be the same without you. I miss you so much.

Jennifer. You had to have loved the memorial service your kids put together for you ! It was filled with love and even some laughter. I also now have one of your favorite songs " I'll follow you down " on my phone playlist and will think of you every time I hear it. I have lots of good memories of working with you and I will miss you.

Jennifer had a heart of gold. She always loved to go the extra mile for others. She was such a hard worker and an excellent nurse. I loved coming in to work and seeing her. She always would make sure I had a bite to eat. She was very proud of her children and adored her grandbabies. May you rest in peace hun... I wish you could read about all the lives you have touched and how many of us will miss you.

Jennifer was the first friend I made when I moved to Odessa when we were in the 8th grade. We have been friends ever since. Jennifer was so caring, loving and giving to everyone around her. She went up to the hospital on her day off to be there with me when I had my first baby. She was the first person to hold my firstborn son. I will always love you Jennifer, you will be missed by many. We all have an angel watching over us now.

I worked with Jennifer at Medical Center Hopital in Labor and Delivery. Jennifer was a kind soul and a caring nurse and a good friend. I am truely sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to her family and friends.

I worked with Jennifer at MCH. She told me I was her nurse for 2 of her babies while at ORMC. She remembered me very well. It was one of the times you're embarrassed to say you don't remember them. Jennifer said "You're blocking it out because I was such a bad patient"

Jennifer was such a great friend to me. I loved working at MCH with her and she was so kind and willing to help out. We both shared love of the same books and movies and the conversations we had I will never forget. I will miss Jennifer very much!

Jennifer was one of the kindest women we have ever had the pleasure and honor of having in our lives. She cared for my wife while she was in the hospital and I believe she was a key part of her recovery. She was compassionate and an inspiration to those whose lives she touched. Jennifer was such a good friend and co-worker to me. It's hard thinking that she is gone. I will always remember all the good talks we had.
