Not sure what to say?

I'm not sure if the family is still reading these wishes but I wanted to add my prayers for you. I was introduced to Mr. Medicine Hat by way of a Omaha talk show on the radio. I couldn't wait to see one of his shows. I had that opportunity in Boise Idaho. It was one of the best nights of my life. I felt alive again after so many years of grief and pain. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I use to work with Jent when when he first getting started in 1986-87 he was still working at the Slaughter house in La Mars. He had funniest stories about that place and he was always so nice anything he could to help you he would do without question. I just found out and my thoughts are with his family.

I wanted to see his show for years and finally went on July 5, 2012. It was fantastic. So sad that I won't have that honor again. My prayers to his family

We are both sad to hear of his passing. He was great person and funny we will miss him. Brad and Cara Larson

Jent got his comedy start in a little Sioux City dive back in 1983, along with Don Reese, Rick Olson, Rick Meier, and a few others. I was lucky enough to be along for the ride, too. At Kenny's Komedy Korner, we all got a front row seat to a guy who, from the start, owned the room every time he set foot on stage. He was going places.

Years later, during his set in Colorado Springs, Jent picked my laugh out of the crowd, and did four minutes on the Sioux City. After, he called...

Although I didn't know him personally, he was one of the funniest people I have ever known. He will be greatly missed.

Very sad to hear of J's passing. I always looked forward to hearing him on the Todd N Tyler radio show here in Omaha. He was one of a kind and will definitely be missed! My thoughts and sympathy are with his family and friends. RIP Hat!!

I am so sorry to hear of J.'s passing. I so wanted to see his show at The Funny Bone again. My condolences to his family and friends.

Always in my thoughts..Rest in peace my friend ..Vicki -Richmond VA FunnyBone
