Ellering Family - knew your Dad for about 20 years as his patient. He delivered all but one of our eight children - that one beat him out before he got to the hospital! We remember him fondly.

Your father and mother were such beautiful, kind, fun and intensely gifted people.
Dr. Ellering was not just an OB doctor, he was a genuine, old-fashioned family doctor. Before 911 was a part of our life, if there was an emergency, your dad would be called. He'd make better time than an aid car. I recall choking on a bone and not being able to breathe. Your dad was summoned and arrived in what seemed like seconds and dislodged the bone, saving my life....

Jerry and Margaret Ellering were very close friends of my parents. Many of my fondest childhood memories were with their wonderful family. Margaret Ellering and my mom, Gerri Gianelli, used to go to the A&P together on Friday nights and then go to Chung King across the street and have a coke and a cigarette. It was absolutely thrilling to get to go along with them.
Jerry Ellering was a terrific conversationalist who loved the Beatles (which made him cool) and he was always so much...
